"The works in this exhibition have been produced over the last 18 months and are a response to the West Coast of Scotland - Arisaig, Rhum and Eigg and also Debussy's 'La Mer'.  I visited the West Coast on a sea kayaking trip in 2019 and was fascinated and inspired by the weather. Unable to paint or photograph due to the fierce conditions, I was forced to mentally retain all, to be released later via the medium of music.  The title 'Symphonic Poem' suggests a musical interpretation of a landscape."
