About us

Iona House Gallery is an independent contemporary art gallery in Woodstock, Oxfordshire. Established in 2002, the gallery represents a broad selection of established and emerging artists and makers from across the UK and internationally. Our collection includes original paintings and prints, sculpture, ceramics, glass, woodwork and contemporary jewellery.

Open seven days a week, we are known for providing a personal, knowledgeable and professional service in a relaxed and welcoming setting. The gallery team includes founders and sisters Jayne Rumsey, Suzanne Woods and Diana Zajicek, Head of Digital Caroline Smith, and Gallery Manager Will Griffiths. We work with collectors throughout the UK and internationally, from those buying their first original artwork to those developing an established collection.

More than 300 artworks can be viewed in the gallery at any one time, with exhibitions changing every six to eight weeks throughout the year. Prices range from under £50 for selected ceramics, glass and jewellery to several thousand pounds for paintings and sculpture. Work can also be viewed and purchased through our website, and we offer an art consultancy service for clients seeking help choosing the right piece for a particular space.

The gallery was originally opened to raise funds for a children’s home in Romania set up by the charity Mary’s Meals. Although now privately owned, the gallery continues to support the charity.
