Scottish Exhibition 19th October - 24th November 2019

This year's Scottish Exhibition consists of thirteen artists including world-renowned landscape artist John Lowrie Morrison (Jolomo), famous for his brightly coloured oils depicting the West Coast and islands of Scotland.

Anthony Barber's island watercolours, Catriona MacEachen's East Coast acrylics and Helen Glassford's abstract oils also portray the incredible light and natural beauty of the Scottish coastline.

Julian Mason, Calum MacFarlane-Barrow and Gail Wendorf focus on the magic of Iona and surrounding islands, although Calum's collection also includes mountainous Highland scenes. They are joined by Erni Upton, a new addition to the gallery’s stable of artists, whose scenes of Iona capture its tranquillity and spirituality. Angus-based painter, Jonathan Mitchell contributes a variety of Scottish scenes, together with riverside views from his recent trip to Hérisson in central France. Still life floral artist Mairi Stewart together with Joe Hargan, whose humorous, bold and unique style is collected world-wide, complete this year's group of painters.

Sculptural woodwork by Angus Clyne and quirky ceramics by Eoghan Bridge conclude the exhibition.
