Sarah Ollerenshaw
Sarah Ollerenshaw is a UK-based painter with a background in fine art restoration and conservation. She studied Spanish and History of Art at the University of Birmingham before completing a postgraduate diploma at Christie’s Education, which led to an apprenticeship in restoration and conservation. Alongside this work, she continued to develop her own painting practice.
Working from her studio in Wimbledon, Ollerenshaw is now a full-time practising artist. Her paintings are often informed by time spent walking outdoors, particularly in London parks and wooded areas, where landscape becomes a recurring source of imagery. She works with a range of tools, including palette knives, building her compositions through vigorous, layered marks and an intuitive use of colour.
Ollerenshaw has exhibited widely in the UK and internationally over many years, and her work is held in private collections.
