Paul trained at Ipswich College of Art and Design and at Falmouth College of Arts where he obtained a BA (Hons) in Fine Art. 

He travelled and painted extensively for many years in the United Arab Emirates and Oman, exhibiting in Dubai and Muscat. His aim is to tell stories through his paintings. In the last six years his travels have taken him to India; its natural beauty and inspiring colours have provided an abundance of material. 

Paul is also fascinated by the circus. Growing up in Great Yarmouth there was a permanent circus. The energy, colour, life, movement and the challenge of capturing a fleeting moment enthrals him.
 
His work is in many collections including Tresco Estate, Barclays Bank Dubai, Saudi Arabian Investment Bank and Marks and Spencer.
