Nigel Fletcher
Nigel was born in 1953 in Evesham and educated at the Quaker School in Sibford Ferris. Nigel took a Foundation course at Banbury School of Art was encouraged to choose illustration and studied at Harrow School of Art where observation and good draughtsmanship were a priority.
'I spent most of my career as an illustrator but always enjoyed painting for fun and 20 years ago I realised painting was more important to me so took the plunge and switched to painting full-time. I work in a traditional representational way and am inspired and influenced by light and it’s changing effects.'

Nigel has exhibited with the Royal Institute of Oil painters for the past 5 years.
