Lisa Graa Jensen

Lisa was born in Søborg, Denmark

She studied at the Sir John Cass School of Art, Whitechapel, Londonand then at Camberwell School of Art – BA (Honours) Degree in Graphic Design / Book Illustration.

Lisa became a full time Illustrator with BL Kearley Ltd – working for Hamlyn, MacMillan, Marshall Cavendish, BBC Publications, Radio Times, Heinemann, MacDonald, & Puffin Books; and greetings cards for Ling, Camden Graphics & Royle – including illustrating “Gudrun” for Kestrel Books

Between 1981 – 83 She worked as an Assistant Art Therapist at Unstead Park Nursing Home, Godalming, Surrey.

From 1983 Lisa has pursued a career as a Freelance Painter & Illustrator of Books, Fine Art & Greeting Cards including for Kingsmead Publications, Medici Cards, Rosenstiels, Woodmansterne, Robertson Collection. She has numerous prizes and awards for her work.
