Lesley Nason
Using porcelain clay, Lesley Nason creates contemporary atmospheric wall pieces and vessels inspired by trees, fields and countryside surrounding her home in Derbyshire. Lesley's initial sketches are transferred onto the soft clay with texture, following a bisque firing resists, oxides and crackle glazes are applied to add detail, shading and contrast to the piece. She also produce a range of stylish jewellery, all formed by hand then encased in jewel coloured glazes and combined with silver, copper and glass.
