Cumbrian based sculptor Karen Fawcett works with her partner to create a wide variety of sculptural pieces of garden and wetland birds, domestic and farm animals, birds of prey and reptiles. Each piece is modelled form life, paying particular attention to the modelling of the feathers and fur and the colour details to ensure a high level of accuracy. Colour details are added after the glazing to achieve maximum life like representation.
