David Anthony Hall
David Anthony Hall was born in Ireland in 1969 and studied at the Institute of Art in Dublin. David expresses his fascination for the natural environment and its embedded sense of the past through his large format panoramic images of forests, fields and tree canopies. He says, “My work represents an emotional attachment to the primary life/force on our planet and its relationship to our fleeting presence”.
David has exhibited his work in 7 countries over the last five years at a number of public and private institutions.
He has taken commissions from Great Ormond Street Hospital, Bergamo Hospital in Italy, the Tavistock Centre in London and St. Anthony’s Hospital in St. Louis, America. His career has led him to claim 11 awards from numerous art shows including; the Winner’s Prize at the Land Rover, Voyage of Discovery Photography Awards and The Self Promo Awards at One2Fifty Gallery. His work was also shown at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2016 and he has donated pieces to the Arthur Rank Hospice in Cambridge.
In 2017 David exhibited his work at the Xposure International Photography Festival.
