Christopher Miers (b. 1941) is a British landscape painter known for his intimate, small-scale paintings, predominantly in oils and tempera. He began painting from an early age before pursuing a career in the Army, serving with the Royal Green Jackets and retiring as a lieutenant-colonel in 1985.

Miers became a full-time painter in 1990 and has exhibited regularly at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition since 1985. He is an elected member of the Royal Society of British Artists, the Chelsea Art Society and the Small Paintings Group, and has held over 25 solo exhibitions.

His work draws on landscapes encountered both at home and abroad, particularly London, Cornwall, South Africa, Venice and India. Working en plein air, Miers captures the changing light and atmosphere of each location with a distinctive sense of immediacy and tranquillity. His paintings are held in collections including the Imperial War Museum and the House of Commons.
