Brin Edwards was born in 1957. He obtained a BSc (Hons) in Biology from the University of Exeter (1980) and an MSc in Ecology from the University of Durham (1981).

Since 1982 he has worked as natural history and wildlife illustrator. His work has been published by many UK and European book and magazine publishers. Clients include the RSPB, National Trust, Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, Harper Collins and Marshall Cavendish editions.
