Seedpods were the inspiration for this piece. Leaves have been rolled onto the surface of the clay leaving behind a skeletal imprint, almost like the fossilized wing of a dragonfly. Some leaves have been highlighted with 24ct gold leaf.

The pod is 15cm in length and constructed from white earthenware clay and fired to 1120 degrees Celsius.
