Landa trained and worked as a doctor for 25 years before she left medicine to pursue a lifelong passion for the arts.

She attended Plymouth College of Art and Design obtaining a First Class Honours degree in Applied Arts. Throughout her degree she specialised in ceramics.

Landa lived in Devon for many years but 8 years ago moved to rural Fife in Scotland where she also has her pottery workshop - Creich Clay.  She is interested and inspired by landscapes and nature, and has also always had a fascination with people; their fragility and idiosyncrasies.
