From the age of 8 Ken has been drawing and painting landscapes. His student life included Advanced Printing at Stow College and Graphic Design, Painting and Life Drawing at Glasgow School of Art. He went on to be founder and MD of a large Graphic Communications Group serving industry in the UK, a career which spanned 25 years.

Ken has been a full-time painter for over 20 years. He lives in St Andrews in Fife which is known globally as ‘the home of golf’. There are many opportunities for landscape painting in the inspirational countryside around where he lives, with its undulating hills, farmland, enormous skies and beautiful little coastal villages which often feature in his work. Whilst landscapes are the main subject, portraiture is also part of Ken’s portfolio having completed many successful commissions.

His landscape work is in numerous collections throughout the UK, USA and Europe. ‘International Artist’ Magazine has featured his landscape paintings on two occasions.
