Sandra uses an ancient metalworking technique originating from Korea called Keum-Boo, which translates as 'attached gold'.  Heat and pressure are used to mechanically gild 24 carat gold onto fine silver producing a permanent diffusion bond.  The result is a lovely contrast between the metals.
