Vyacheslav Sinkevich

Vyacheslav was born in Almaty, Kazakhstan, in 1965. Since childhood his artistic training has been with Korean and Chinese masters of traditional Eastern painting. As a student he attended the Kazakh National Institute of Painting and graduated in 1986. He left Kazakhstan in 1986 and moved to St Petersburg, where he currently lives and works. However, the early influence of Eastern art on his work is still apparent in his current work, with its harmonious use of gold, coupled with palettes ranging from the subtle to the very bold applied to silk spread over canvas.

He has participated in numerous exhibitions in Finland, Sweden and Holland, as well as in Russia, and his pictures are in private collections all over the world.
