She draws and paints directly from her surroundings, gathering observations and ideas which are later developed in the studio. Travel has provided a rich source of subjects throughout her career, from landscapes and coastal scenes to interiors and figures.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"line-height: 115%;\"\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';\"\u003eJackson studied printmaking at Southampton and Winchester College of Art from 1978 to 1983.
