Ann Blockley is a watercolour and mixed-media artist with a distinctive style that has evolved over a lifetime of professional painting. Her practice incorporates a variety of materials and techniques, each selected to express the unique interpretations of nature that characterise her signature themes. Ann has authored numerous books on her painting methods, including her most recent, 'Poetic Woods,' published by Batsford in September 2023.

 She is a member of the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours (RI) and the Society of Women Artists (SWA). She is also a member of The Arborealists, a diverse group of artists who value trees and a connection with nature.
