Born in Yorkshire in 1950, Jon is primarily self-taught with a distinctive and fluid style which expresses movement, power, sensitivity and tonal balance. He received personal tuition from Christopher Sanders RA. His ‘City Life’ series in particular has won him a growing following. The viewer is transported to a more desirable and idealist world. Exhibits throughout England and also in Turkey where he now lives. His work is held in collections worldwide
